K-Pop Fan Interview: Naimee & Sarah
Could you tell us who you are, where you’re from and give us a little description about yourself?
Hello, we are jeon.x.kim. Our real names are Naimee and Sarah and we are from Bangladesh. Sarah is 15 and Naimee is 14 and we really like to dance.
So how long are you a K-pop fan and how did you get introduced?
Sarah: My first song from K-pop was “Danger by F(X)”. I was a K-pop fan since 2012 and I became an ARMY in 2015. My first song from BTS was “War of Hormone”.
Naimee: I became a BTS fan in 2019. My first K-pop song were “Idol” and “Blood, Sweat and Tears”. After that I really got into K-pop.
Why do you love K-pop and what makes it different compared to other genre’s?
Sarah: K-pop music really teaches me about different things, besides the choreo , their music speaks about deep subjects. I learnt a lot of different things about life through K-pop.
Naimee: K-pop really soothes me a lot. I get really deep thoughts from K-pop. Their music is amazing. The songs have different meanings which makes me realize about different topics, which i wasn’t even concious about.
If you make K-pop related content could you tell us what you do and why?
We like to do dance covers. It’s really enjoyable. It’s also like a passion for us. It really makes us calm.
Could you tell us your top 5 K-pop groups (in no particular order):
Mamamoo: This group is amazing. They taught us to do whatever we want. We are a bit healthy and we were body shamed by people before. They taught us to follow our heart.
BTS: They taught us to love ourselves. To be honest we were both depressed. They really taught us to love ourselves.
BLACKPINK: They improved our fashion style. They helped us improve our expression. They are awesome hehe.
Stray Kids: To be honest, they produce a lot of good music. We like their music genre, as it makes us dance often.
TWICE: They are amazing. We like their vibe and they are so talented. We started to improve dancing as soon as we tried their choreography of their songs.
Out of those 5, if you had to pick a number 1, who would it be and why?
BTS, because they truly helped us and we feel like they were always by our side. We feel like they support and love us no matter what. They are always here for us.
Who’s your bias. Could you tell us your top 5 (in no particular order):
V (Kim Taehyung), Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope and RM (all 5 are BTS members).
If you had to pick a number 1 bias, who would it be and why?
Sarah: V (Kim Taehyung), because he is really amazing. I like his fashion style, I love his stage presence and I like his smile and voice too.
Naimee: Jeon Jungkook, because I love his passion for dancing. He has charisma and I really love his energy. I love his angelic voice too.
Imagine getting a wish granted, but it has to be K-pop related: could you tell us what your wish would be and why?
It would be meeting them. We really want to meet them. They are like the stars of our life. The idol or guide of our lives.

@girl_on_heelsx_x, because she is truly amazing and she is so talented. @staryu0 she is supportive and dances well. @mahpara.uwu she is so cute when it comes to dancing.

No matter where u are, who u are or what u are: please follow what you love. Do what makes you happy and calm. Do what u want, always follow your heart and passion.
