K-Pop Fan Interview: Mahpara

Could you tell us who you are, where you’re from and give us a little description about yourself?

Hi everyone, I’m Mahpara and I live in Bangladesh. I love to dance and sing.

So how long are you a K-pop fan and how did you get introduced?

I am a K-pop fan since 2017 and I got to know about K-pop from my friends.

Why do you love K-pop and what makes it different compared to other genre’s?

In my opinion,K-pop songs are really catchy and it fits our generation perfectly. I just love the fact that they express their feelings through songs and are inspiring their fans and other people.

If you make K-pop related content could you tell us what you do and why?

Currently I’m into dance and I did some dance covers too. I just want to inspire all the people around me and tell them to do what they love.

Could you tell us your top 5 K-pop groups (in no particular order):

BTS, EXO, Stray Kids, Blackpink and Itzy.

Out of those 5, if you had to pick a number 1, who would it be and why?

It would be BTS since they taught me how to love myself and speak for myself.

Who’s your bias. Could you tell us your top 5 (in no particular order):

Jungkook (BTS), Chanyeol (Exo), Yeji (Itzy) and Felix (Stray kids).

If you had to pick a number 1 bias, who would it be and why?

I would pick Yeji (Itzy) since she’s really energetic, talented and my inspiration too.

Imagine getting a wish granted, but it has to be K-pop related: could you tell us what your wish would be and why?

My wish would be to meet BTS, because I want to tell them to keep going like this and thank them for changing my life.

Let’s spread some love by giving a big shout out. Who would you like to give a shout out to and why?

I would love to give a shoutout to my friends who always treated me like their family member and supported me.

And last but not least: if you could change the world with just one positive message (it doesn’t have to be K-pop related), what would it be?

I want to tell people that being perfect won’t make you “perfect”. We are all humans, so its okay to accept your flaws and mistakes. Just be yourself and don’t think about what others think.
