Could you tell us who you are, where you’re from and give us a little description about yourself?

Hello my name is Carlos!! And I’m 20 years old. I’m from Indonesia and I’m a college student. I am actively dancing to many K-pop songs on my Instagram account and I really enjoy listening to K-pop songs.

So how long are you a K-pop fan and how did you get introduced?

I have known K-pop since mid of 2017. Ever since a group called Wanna One made their debut. I was actively searching for popular songs and suddenly jumped into their music video through Youtube. And since then I kept on listening to their songs and got to know other groups too.

Why do you love K-pop and what makes it different compared to other genre’s?

There is no way to tell why I love K-pop, as it just draws me in everytime I listen to K-pop songs and it’s a really nice feeling to get, everytime I listen to all those different K-pop songs. I just love it I guess. And it’s different from other genres, because the songs include choreography too for the promotions. And every aspect of the songs are just unique like the rythm, beats, parts, etc.

If you make K-pop related content could you tell us what you do and why?

Yes, I do dance covers and have been actively posting them through my Instagram platform under the name @gldn_car. I have been interested in dance right before I got to know K-pop and have been learning it for two months, until I knew K-pop’s unique choreography and have been drawn to it. It’s because i love dance I guess.

Could you tell us your top 5 K-pop groups (in no particular order):

Yes, the first groups that I have known for a long time is Red Velvet, BTS and Infinite. Nowadays I love Golden Child and The Boyz. And it’s nice to have a fan community.

Out of those 5, if you had to pick a number 1, who would it be and why?

I think I would pick Golden Child, because I’m just so in love with them lately and they are so talented, but underrated at the same time. I love a lot of their material and I love their characters. If we talk about idols, we do love their entire life, right.

Who’s your bias. Could you tell us your top 5 (in no particular order):

It’s Kang Daniel, Chungha, Somi, Yeonjun (from Tomorrow x Together) and Lee Daeyeol (Golden Child).

If you had to pick a number 1 bias, who would it be and why?

I’m going to pick Kang Daniel as my favorite, because he keeps reminding me of my first day I got to know K-pop. It’s trough his past group (Wanna One) and he has incredible dancing skills too, that’s why I love to watch his performances.

Imagine getting a wish granted, but it has to be K-pop related: could you tell us what your wish would be and why?

If that dream comes true, I wish I could watch K-pop performances live and if I had the chance, I would like do the fansigns, so I can talk to the idols. Like face to face, even if it was just for a minute!! I want to meet them in real life too.

Let’s spread some love by giving a big shout out. Who would you like to give a shout out to and why?

If I would give a shout out, then I will give it to Golden Child. I know you guys are working super hard and I hope you guys enjoy every little second of time in your days. Your fans will always be with you and we know you can make it. Keep fighting and be happy.

And last but not least: if you could change the world with just one positive message (it doesn’t have to be K-pop related), what would it be?

I noticed there are a lot of people being insecure in their own life and it’s really hard to get over it. I’ve been there before and it’s really an uncomfortable situation for your own life. I hope you guys can be grateful for everything you have and keep being positive. Pay no mind to other’s hate comments and live your life happily.
