Dance Cover Showcase: Belle

Could you tell us who you are, where you’re from and why you have chosen this dance cover as your showcase?

Hello! My name is Belle and I’m from the Philippines. I have started my dance cover account on July just this year. I chose this video, because despite my whole body aching, I pushed through and got it done.

So how long did you have to study the choreography?

I studied for it for one day and tried to perfect the moves the next day. So it took me about two days.

How long does it normally take for you to memorize the choreography?

Normally it just takes me a one day. Sometimes it takes me up to three days though.

What was the most difficult part of the choreography?

I don’t know the exact time stamp, but that time where I spun at the line “Find me and I’m gonna live with ya”, because I found it really hard to balance myself.

Were you surprised that the choreography was easy / difficult and why?

I already knew that the choreography was difficult the moment I watched it. So it surprised me when I was able to do it.

How did you come up with your outfit?

I took inspiration from the manifesto film.

Are there hidden bloopers / secrets in your dance cover?

Yes! Haha, there are a lot of clips of me stretching my back, singing to Jungkook’s high note and ofcourse: going out of balance.

If you could give one positive message / advice to anyone out there who loves to do K-pop dance covers, what would it be?

To never give up and it takes a lot of time. Because I remember when I used to be so bad at dancing but I really worked hard to improve my skills.

And last but not least: If you could give a shout out to another K-pop dancer, because people need to see their showcase. Who would you like to give a shoutout to and why?

@annkcover and @lietheson, because they are one of the first friends I made when I started and they are absolutely amazing.
